LHyVE

LHyVE – a green hydrogen ring for Leipzig

The collaborative LHyVE (Leipzig Hydrogen Value chain for Europe/green hydrogen ring for the Leipzig region) project will develop the entire H2 value chain from production through to transport, storage, distribution and trade of hydrogen as well as applications.

Showcase of Saxon and central German hydrogen technologies

The collaborative LHyVE (Leipzig Hydrogen Value chain for Europe/green hydrogen ring for the Leipzig region) project will develop the entire H2 value chain from production (LHyVE Production) through to transport (LHyVE Transport), storage, distribution and trade of hydrogen (LHyVE Flexibilisation) as well as applications (LHyVE Systems). As a sub-project of the IPCEI Green Octopus Central Germany, LHyVE will integrate the Leipzig-Halle region into the European hydrogen infrastructure and connect it to European markets. In doing so, LHyVE will ensure the climate-neutral future of the trade fair city of Leipzig with secure jobs, technological expertise and a high quality of life.

Initiators of the collaborative project: as strong companies in the Leipzig region, the project initiators and partner companies are actively shaping the hydrogen location in Central Germany.
